yes, all the programmers started with "hello world",

Kernighan is the reason behind those words, in his tutorial on the B Language, that is where he included the code to actually do hello world. This trend continued in his other books with Dennis Ritchie for the C Programming Language first and second edtion. Those words have made a scene in reality and virtual worlds, Golf players saying it, Virtual news readers saying it, most programming languages follow it's trend now.
