There are many ways to get through firewall...One way is to change the url. Regular example url: http://www.Myspace.Com to go through the firewall go to example url changes: https://www.Myspace.Com
If that does not work
Go to https://www.Kproxy.Com type in the url of your site. If it says does not work-remove the FIRST number in the URL.

Or you can go too https://www.Vtunnel.Com
I do not recomend vtunnel becuase if you want to go on myspace, you must keep logging out and logging back in.

there really isn't a solution to this problem, unless you know that fancy way to access your computer from school.
otherwise, you can just keep using new proxy sites until they're blocked.

that's what we do in my school district.
all you hear all day long is "hey man, you know a proxy site?"
but they're pretty fast when it comes to finding new ones and blocking them.

it's pretty sad how long this discussion is.
it shows how many kids are on this forum sad.gif

Sensational
at my school we just used loads and loads of proxy sites to get on myspace, hotmail, youtube, games etc. but then we got told off pretty bad for doing it so do it at your own risk!!

if you run out of these proxy sites then just google "proxy sites" and they come about VERY easily!

heres a few to help you..

http://www.spysurfing.com/
http://www.proxyforall.com/
http://proxin.cn/
http://youtubeproxy.org/
http://www.httpsurf.com/
http://www.goproxing.com/
http://www.proxysite.org/

and basically on any of them all you have to do is enter in the link of where you want to go and it will take you!

You guys, there's no point in telling her random web-based proxies. As soon as someone visits a site, the administrator of the firewall can usually view it. Usually at my school, every proxy we used was blocked within 3 days. What I would advise you to do is to subscribe to a proxy newsletter. This gives you new and updated proxies every day. That way, even if your firewall administrator found out about some new ones, you would always have some more that you can use.

The newsletters that I subscribe to are from http://www.proxyannouncer.com/ and http://groups.google.com/group/hostcloak-proxy-network/ .

Another alternative thing that you can try doing id using a remote desktop service like LogMeIn (www.logmein.com) to remotely use your home computer from school and then use its web browser to browse the internet. Since you would be using your home internet connection, everythiin would still work. The only downsides to this method are that there is a noticeable lag when you are remotely using a computer and that the admin may block LogMeIn.

I hope that this information helps...

Blocked Everything :(
School Firewalls

My school has everything blocked...

They blocked everything all port's except 80 and 443...
They blocked  keywords like "proxy" and "bypass" and "firewall" and "unblock" and even "remote"...
When I find a new proxy website... It WILL be blocked in like... 2 minutes (They always watching)
They even blocked translators... (Since some lets you see the website you want)

I tried connecting to my computer with various remote admin programs, like TeamViewer, VNC, and even the one that was posted above (Your Freedom)...

I even tried the program called Tor, which is supposed to be a network based entirely of proxies... None works...
Even trying to connect to blocked websites with HTTPS don't work...

It sucks ... They use Novell BorderManager for their Content Filter...
It seems impossible to get around ...

I've done my research and it says BorderManager is a Proxy & Firewall combo...

This sucks...
