How to repair ntoskrnl.exe

1- boot tour computer from windows Xp installation cd
2- After booting, select repair from installation options.
3- Select your windows partition
4- Change drive to CD-ROM, for example: H:\I386\
5- Expand ntkrnlmp.ex_ to C:\Windows\System32\ntoskrnl.exe
6- Finally,Restart your computer

2 small things, how can you expand in the repair console and do you work for M$ (because you know all those tweaks and settings)???
