The only difference with smartphones is that is has an 800x480 wide screen display, every other smartphone is capable of playing videos too, in any give format, the only thing you need is TCPMP (freeware) or the core player (shareware) in combination with ffmpeg codecs. The 400Mb internal storage is very nice, but it's just not enough for a large music collection and a single video at the same time, but enough space to install a shitload of applications .

My friend used this device and he said that it is really a good one to have and use, more comfortable than Nokia E71 or Blackberry Bold, but the main bad thing about Xperia X1 is that by default it can be a little slow while using it, so this is really a problem especially if you add more things to it, even though I didn't use it and don't really plan to do so, because I don't travel to much, so I think those kind of devices is for people who spend less time at home.

I need to find free video editing software that allows you to control brightness, sharpness and

Hey guys, Am searching for a good (preferrably Freeware) video editing tool that'll let me
import and edit videos directly from a Sony DVD HandyCam. I'd prefer if the tool can read .VOB
files directly, instead of going through the traditional process of converting it into another
common format (.avi, .mpg) first. Googling for DVD Video Editor brings up a horde of DVD Authoring
Software - but that's not what I want. Do you guys have any recommendations for me? Thanks, m^e....
I have a long (20 minutes) video encoded in MPEG2 (I believe), and weighing about 1.3GB. If
you're interested, it is the footage from a big concert in which my band performed at the
beginning of this month. I want to first of all, split all the different songs into different files,
and then upload them to Youtube or a similar site so as to prevent myself from having to send out
huge files in many directions. I've tried many different programs. Windows Movie Maker keeps
freezing when I "import" the video into it, probably because it is not used to such large file....
I have a problem with my windows media player. It plays all videos in full screen mode. The media
player does not show any menu bars etc when it starts playing video. hence I cannot reduce the size.
I have tried pressing Alt + enter looking through options like video size, zoom etc, but to no luck.
Even try uninstalling and reloading different version but in all case the problem persists. I have
used ver. 9, 10 11 (beta). All versions are giving problems. Any help is appreciated. ....
I have tried quite a few and many of them have problems or don't give the desired output.
I'm in Australia so I need something that outputs to PAL and hopefully have the movie come out
the same as it went in. I have a NERO one as apart of my Nero burning package but often closes due
to annoying errors much like alot of software I have tried, (something preferably simple to use
would be nice as my younger autistic brother will need to use it also). It's mostly going to be
used for old footage of me skateboarding but also for videos mum has taken of my siste....
I have a handful of mini DV tapes and couldn't find a quick way to transfer them to my laptop. I
found a free program to do it (forgot the name) and it seems to do the job, but it was really slow.
I think it was real-time video transfer. Is there a program out there that can transfer video from
a camcorder to computer without taking too long? I mean, real-time is just a killer /wink.gif"

QUOTE Review of Dr. DivX 1.0.6 All of us know that how big the DVD files can be and to store
them, we require a huge capacity Hard disk. So the best way is to convert such files to avi format
to have no video quality loss but getting lower file size. There are many tools for converting
video files to lower sizes. This tool in particular can convert following files to avi format in a
very simple way and at a fast speed :- avi, vob, ts, mpg, dat, mov and avs. While the output will
be in only avi. Dr. divx bundle is a small exe file of only 9 MB, the installation ....

I am an amateur filmmaker, and I desperately need a video editing program that can reverse video. I
have tried using Fade to Black, which can reverse video, but when I mix down to an .avi, the file is
glitchy and I lose a lot of frames. Does anyone know of any software that can reverse video but
still retain the quality of the original video, sans glitches? Thanks.....
I'm trying to animate a picture so that two words that are on top of each other, the move apart.
Does anyone know a program that allows you to do this? Thanks.....
how can i remove those cloudy effects in the video that i captured? especially in a little dark
areas? i used virtualdub still, i am not satisfied with the result. also, what if there are many
shakes in the video? is there a way to avoid them? and i captured something from the tv, how can i

I was wondering if anyone knew of a Video Editing Software program that allowed you to edit
individual frames. For example, if there was someones face in a video, could you add a black square
to censor the person's face.....
