 Tough I have a few small remarks. http://disturbedmb.com The large banner you use is a bit too bright compared to the rest of the site. Also, I notice a lot of JPEG artifacts in the banner background (I always spot jpeg artifacts, I hate them  ). The rest of the site looks good, I also like the green bars on the top and bottom of the page, maybe you can reuse them in the menu buttons on top (eg. on mouseover).I'd also change the default e107 favicon http://atrhq.com/ The ATR banner (the small one) on top is ... small  . Either resize it so it has the same width as the wrapper, or add a border to it.http://southlandforum.com/ Well, it looks like a forum , it's nothing special, but it works
Some good looking forums but I think now you need to network them together under one website/company to help maximize forum posting and bringing up your registered users as well. Other then trying to focus SEO and advertisement to your websites know there is nothing else to really change about them.
I was thinking of uniting the All That Remains Website and the Disturbed Website, but they each have a unique community and I can tell you that some of the members on each forum won't get along with the members on the other forum.
As for the SEO aspect, I have been doing a ton of SEO the past few months, and I've managed to get both of my band fansites up to the top 50 on at least one search engine of a search of the band's name. I managed to get the All That Remains site up to #9 on MSN for a search of all that remains, but it quickly dropped when MSN became Bing.
You're forums look pretty solid. I am not much of an SMF fan though, to be honest. I usually use MyBB for all of my forums. I do not like the look of SMF, but you're forums look amazing design-wise. I think the top bottom sites, including the one you do not own, need to be advertised a bit more. You have a great design, so all you would need is more members and posts to create a truly successful envirnonment. Hope that helps, and of course good luck
