I'm having another problem.
Well... If you read my other topic, the site isn't working with www.
Well, now the site won't work at all, subdomains, ftp, everything.
I get the old parking page that came with the domain. I was wondering if it is a problem with the company I registered the domain with. I know that the name servers take time but its been about 5 days since I changed them to the astahost ones. Yesterday it was working (except for subdomains) but today... nothing works.
Can anyone see if it works? the site is www.habbofront.com and a subdomain is radio.habbofront.com
Also, any help why it doesnt work? is it astahost or optinom (optinom is where the domain is registered)? |

They both load fine for me over here.Try clearing your browser cache out?

I did that and i tried Internet Explorer (ugh i can't stand IE) it still isn't working. :l

No probs here.. I just checked and both your domain/subdomain worked out just fine for me..  Dunno how you keep landing at the default page..

Yes, it appears to be working fine for me. One thing is if you are running windows XP, you may need to flush your DNS cache. To do so simply go to start -> run. And then type in 'cmd' (without the quotes). And then hit enter. Then type in the following: CODE ipconfig /flushdns Then clear your cache, and everything and try viewing your website again. If you aren't running windows xp, let me know and i'll get you instructions for that version of windows. Hope this helps, Brian

oh ok thanks brian ill try that! just before i do, is there i space between ipconfig and the /? mmk... i did it and the site... still isnt working...  well... if it works for everyone else... i spose its ok. ill see if ftp works. well ftp doesnt work, thats my only real problem then.

Just thought I'd summarize problems that I still have, I really would like to have these fixed. Sub domains - I get the old parking page I had before I got hosting. FTP - The server forces it to timeout all the time so uploading 2500 files yesterday was the worst thing ever. Something with the www prefix - Whenever you go to a page, it takes the www prefix off it, this wouldn't normally bother me but since it's a fansite for Habbo, they won't like that as the company go through the site if I want it to become official. Hosting Termination Error
(0) bakr_2k5 terminated his hosting account but still shows as HOSTED. I think he did this during the
recent RED period. I tried to do a termination token for his account as well but still no luck.
Can you ensure that his hosting is terminated and fix his member group. vujsa....
General Hosting Question.
(5) Currently I have my main personal site on hosting (chessoscorner.com), but I also have a slight
variation of it for my brothers little Gunz clan (chessoscorner.com/shadow_wolves). Is this
allright to do? and if so would it be ok to add another small site for my fiance? From what I know,
I have never come close to exceeding bandwidth (maybe not even half?), plus the upgrade and I think
I'm only still using around 15-25mb of space. So I figure it shouldn't cause problems?
Everything I use is custom and done as best as I can, no lumbering forum software or CMS....

I Cannot Recieve E-mail On My Hosting Account
(11) To describe my problem, I need to give an example. Let's say my hosting account here has the
subdomain www.lestan.astahost.com , with the username khayman . So now my default e-mail account
for this hosting account is khayman@lestan.astahost.com, which is exactly what I see when I log into
Horde. But whenever I try to send myself an e-mail from another free e-mail provider, I don't
recieve anything. I try several times with the same result. I even tried e-mailing myself from
khayman@lestan.astahost.com to khayman@lestan.astahost.com. Nothing! The st....
Is Hosting Days Calculation Correct?
I seem to notice something.. (5) Hi. My application for a free web hosting account in Astahost.com has just been recently approved.

the account set-up process, I notice that the days left is 3. That is correct. Then I started making
new posts. After my last post, I remembered that my days left was 13.++. A few hours later, I logged
in again and it is 10.++. I am not trying to be picky here. After all, it is a free web hosting
account and I'm glad that my application was approved. But has anyone notice ....
Moved To Computinghost
But am still being charged hosting credits (9) I've recently moved to paid hosting on ComputingHost, transferring my hosting from Astahost.
Even though I'm now on a different server, and paying for my hosting, I'm still loosing a
hosting credit a day. It's no big deal, because my hosting isn't being suspended or anything
(I've been in the negatives for quite a while now), but surely I shouldn't get charged
hosting credits now that I'm not being hosted by Asta any more, should I?....

I Put Ads On My Site: But It's Still Suspended!
(4) I've recently put ads on my site, as Oaque says you can in the Staying Active Rule

night, and my account has been suspended, even though I put ads on to compensate for the fact that I
haven't been able to post on the forums too much recently. Is there anyway to resolve this
without having to start posting everywhere?....
Site Suspended
..why? (2) my credits barely went negative and i logged in my cpanel a few hours ago and now i receive this:
"This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible."
what actually is the problem? the credit was 0.02 a few hours ago but when i logged in now, it was
-4.xx and i made it till 8.xx but still nothing.. ....
My Site Is Down For 5 Mins. On An Avg. Every Hour
(8) I dont know if it's just me but it seems like my site (james.astahost.com) is like down at least
five minutes ever hour like it would be working for a certian amoutn of time then all of a sudden it

Ip Address For My Site
Is it for my subdomain or for Astahost? (3) I've tried to access my webpage http://www.abhiram.astahost.com by typing in the IP address
that is mentioned in CPanel i.e. 69.50.168.69 . But instead, it goes to http://www.astahost.com .
Am I doing something wrong or is that how it is? If it is supposed to go to astahost, is there a way
to access my site by an IP address? Thanks.....
I Need Help Regarding Hosting Credits!
(5) Ok, I am a hosted memebr with the starters package, I recently asked for an upgrade and was
approved, I have posted 30 posts, and they are all ong and corrcet grammar wise, so when I goto
www,trap17.com.process , and click upgrade, I enter my forum user name and password, and it says I
do not have enough hosting credits, what is the problem? Also, I used to get hosting cedits in big
bunches, now that I am hosted, my credits are counted by days, so far I am at 18.59 Days. How many
credits is that, or is 18.59 Days, 18.59 credits. If so, how come it takes me 2 long posts ....

Messed Up Site Setup
Please Help! (2) Ok, so I fill in the http://www.astahost.com/process just as stated with the web address
finance.astahost.com and the rest filed in and click submit. I then get the message that it is not a
valid subdomain of Trap17, this isn't trap17 so I click ok and the type yes to confirm and it
process my request. I get the completed message and now my site doesnt work, my cpanel doesnt work
and it recons my ftp address is ftp.finance.astahost.com.com which isn't right. Please help.....
