Tattoos

Ill say that before I get slated, I wasnt sure which forum to post this in, and healthcare to me

tired of people asking if ive scanned myself in, I got it because its not something you see

Php: Need Ideas On How To Create Api Hooks !
- (5)
Hey guys, I've been working on a AJAX powered CMS for quite a while now. Am done with
most of the important aspects - except one, i.e. plug-ins. I've studied how apps like WordPress
utilise API Hooks to add in plug-ins (hooks offer various injection points in the main CMS's
code, where a plug-in can inject it's own code). What I couldn't figure out is how to
create one. Anyone here done this before? Can you gimme some examples or guide me to some tutorials
on doing this? Thanks, m^e...

scripting language, and I would like to simply add an existing language to my program. I know how
to use Perl, Tcl/Tk, Python, and others... but I don't know how to tie one of them into my...

Site Language
- Other languages permitted (9)
Hi. I'm thinking of transferring my website to astahost, but I stumbled upon a problem. In your
TOS, it is stated that hosted websites must be in English. My website, which is Joomla based, is a
community site with two languages, Portuguese and English, with Portuguese being the default
language. So, I'd like to know if these rules are final or if a Portuguese website could be
accepted. I'm not expecting you to just open an exception because I asked you to, but it would
be cool if you could expose some conditions by which I could abide to get my wish. I'...
Ideas Wanted: Car Oil Bottle
- How do I stop it falling over and leaking? (2)
Okay Einsteins... I have a small problem I'm getting sick and tired of. Whenever I buy a Castrol
4L plastic bottle of car oil, the lid is really hard to take off (you have to break the ring, and y
fingers have nerve damage making this quite a feat because I can't grip well) and has foil
underneath... but once this is broken, the lid comes off all too easily. If I have the car in my
boot, the bottle often tips over and I find the oil has leaked everywhere. It's not cheap and I
ruin anything it comes into contact with. Short of paying someone a stupid amount o...

halographics, some wonder tonic with healing effects. I'm not sure what you would like, I'm
just greasing the wheels here. Of course I would like to see all thoughs prototype/concept vehicles

Replicator Technology

Hello, The topic here is the building of self replicating (and manufacturing) equipment. Firstly I
would like to know if a How-To would be used or wanted on building and using such equipment?
Secondly I would like to discuss the pros and cons of this equipment i.e. impact on environment,
economy and so forth. I personally love this sort of technology and have build several machines
from scratch. Also if you have used a CNC based machine what software did you use for it. Please
include all of it too from cad and cam to actual G-code interpretor. I personally have used...

Poll / Debate: Is Php A Programming Language Or A Scripting Language?
- (12)
There is an ongoing discussion about the nature of PHP that is taking place in the shoutbox, and I
think it should be moved into a topic in its own right. People seem to be divided into 3 camps.
Some people are saying things like: "but php is a programming language..." "it is a full-fledged
programming language; it's actually quite similar to c++, and also offers classes, which I
consider a powerful feature" Then again others are saying: "by official definition I would imagine,
I don't like thinking of it as one" "someone i know is making a php bnc, but in all...
Php Script Help

Ok first a little back story of what happened and why I am asking for help. I have been playing text
based rpgs and found that I really like them. Well I have also found that most programers don't
want to listen to their clients in the sugestion box and when u make a content sughesstion they get
rude or make fun of your idea. So I decided I would sart my own and make it where the users had say
so in added content. Not saying all sugestions will get added but I will not make fun or get mad at
them. Any who when I bought the script I was under the impression it was fu...

While browsing the internet, you've most likely heard people mention different web scripting
languages? What are they? What do they do? What do they stand for? You'll find all the answers
here! I've tried to list some of the most common languages for your benefit HTML Probably one
of the languages you will hear about the most, HTML stands for Hyper-Text Markup Language. HTML is
the main language used to code websites. Without HTML, there would be no websites! If you opened up
the source code for this page, and looked throuugh it, you'd find little bits...
Synchronization Software
- Please express some ideas (4)
I am working on a project with files at different locations, some duplicates. I want it to be
synchronized to the newest version available (most recent version) at most places, here are where my
files are scattered across: 1. FAT32 partition Read by Linux and Windows, I do most of my file
editing from home on this partition. It is accessible at home only. 2. USB Flash Drive For editing
at school, I edit the files on this drive. 3. Server (at Astahost) This is accessed using File
Manager at home and at school. I can upload files conveniently here from home (see next po...
A New Hack Day With Three New Ideas
- (0)
Yahoo! had another quarter annual Hack Day with three new ideas for Yahoo! Messenger
(http://blog.messenger.yahoo.com/blog/2007/11/01/a-hack-day-full-of-messenger-ideas/). The first is
to integrate webcam into the web version of Messenger. Personally I think this is a duh moment as
this was one of my first reactions when I used Web Messenger. I guess the hack is more that it
happened than an innovative idea. The second is a real time translation of IMs similar to Babelfish
(http://babelfish.altavista.com/). The last hack is a Yahoo! Answers bot. I see this list as ...
Ideas For Features For A Colour Picker
- (3)
I am making a colour picking application in Delphi and am looking for little things I could add or
change to make it better. It's meant to be quite simple for the most part of course, and it
includes 3 sliders for RGB, random colour generation, display of RGB/HEX etc codes, and a feature to
get the colour from underneath the mouse. If anyone has any nice little ideas I might be able to
implement in it, to improve it, it would be greatly appreciated (I'm not sure what people would
look for in a colour picker). And for anyone concerned about (why not use photosh...

Software Copy Protection
- looking for ideas (7)
I just put a computer info based algorithm in my simulator today. I am finally moving toward making
a version of my relativistic physics of spacefilight simulator available on the net with some
features being registration activated. Looking for a web site is part of it. My first idea was to
somehow get the physical location of the file on hard disk (haven't found a way of doing that
yet either) as a basis for unique registration but then a disk defragmentation would invalidate the
registration so that will not work, unless there is some way of making the file un-mo...

Hi, Ev'ryone. I've got a suggestion for the ones that are quite capable af web-programming.
Let us make an organisation, an association of programmers. The aim of that association will be to
help eachother while programming. If you're in that organisation, and a problem you couldn't
solve yourself turns up, you may suddenly leave it on our forum and it will be solved together. To
join it, Leave here your suggestion. QUOTE 1. My real name. 2. My country. 3. My interests. 4.
My age. 5. Links to examples of my work. 6. what you are good at. ...

Grow Your Capitals! With More Safety
- Investing strategies,ideas,opinions here!!! (1)
Most posble Money growing comes from investing money, but here is factor like loss. When it comes to
making investments, most people know that there is always room for a possible loss. Stock market
investments in particular are rather notorious for taking a rather well funded portfolio and
emptying it rather quickly. Of course, that does not happen all the time, otherwise no one would do
it. If, on the other hand, you do not want to take what many consider to be an unnecessary risk,
there are a number of other investments that are reasonably safer, can still bring a good...
Localizing Python
- Some hacking to force python accept more natural languages words (1)
Overall idea about this topic was inspired by my childrens. Some time ago I started to teach them
programming. As a base language I choose Python. So the next step was an attractive subject to
program examples and exercises . I create some "robot" program. There is nothing new in it: yet
another logo-style game. (See attacments) The "robot" is actually lorry which moves at squire cells,
concrete or ground and can't move through walls. It understands commands like "forward",
"backward" and so on. All sounds good as for now. We started from program like this: CODE ...
Cooling Ideas
- (5)
Well yeah ive been messing around with the concept and have been imagining my hund quarters off and
yeah heres a few things - With the ever growing intensity of computer performance, theres been a
necessity to cool all of those hot parts. For ages wev'e resorted to metal thats almost
completely separate from the chip itself. For one, using metal to cool computer parts is far from
the most efficient method. Cooling utilizing liquid instead of air to cool the element is far more
efficient, and is quiter, and lets face it everyone wants a quieter rig, butstill wants t...
What Scripting Language?
- Java/Python/Ruby? (2)
Hi... First of all I know that this place isn't best for this, but this fits into 3 different
categories so I decided to place it in main category... If it fits somewhere else better, I
don't mind moving it somewhere else... So now the case. We (I and few other people I know) are
working on 3D engine... exactly we want to create engines for 3 platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac OS)
that would have one scripting interface so we decided to integrate one of those three script
languages with C++ engine to make it more portable. I was searching for some infos that would...
