This is what PCBSD 1.0 RC 2 said:
QUOTE
uhid1: Microsoft Optical Mouse with Tilt Wheel, rev 2.00/1.20, addr 6, iclass 3/1
Yet my partially working Logitech USB mouse (old) works, PCBSD says:
QUOTE
ums0: Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse, rev 2.00/11.10, addr 6, iclass 3/1
ums0: 3 buttons and Z dir
It detects the Microsoft mouse, but it doesn't work.
Please HELP!
EDIT:
I also read this post on the FreeBSD list:
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd...une/124900.html
but I don't know how to do that in the installer and here:

4.4.2. I have an unusual bus mouse. How do I set it up?
FreeBSD supports the bus mouse and the InPort bus mouse from such manufacturers as Microsoft, Logitech and ATI. The GENERIC kernel does not include the device driver. To build a custom kernel with the bus mouse driver, add the following line to the kernel config file:
device mse0 at isa? port 0x23c irq5
Bus mice usually come with dedicated interface cards. These cards may allow you to set the port address and the IRQ number other than shown above. Refer to the manual of your mouse and the mse(4) manual page for more information.

I don't know how to do that either on the installer.
