I registered one only for the purpose of testing it, configured it to point to my account here at AstaHost, and it worked immediately. I don't understand why you said it doesn't. Did you set up one and had a bad experience with it?? Plus, if you're offering uni.cc as an alternative, you should know it doesn't support nameservers at all anymore. It has removed nameserver support back in 2004, I believe.
www.uni.cc isn't all that great. It's just a subdomain really. If you want a REAL domain name, you should try www.dotworlds.net It's the best. It lets you make your OWN domain, literally.
Example: www.imso.cool or something. lol. YOu don't have to use .net, .com, .org, etc etc. This one is way better and it's free for one whole year  And it really works too. No scam!

all it does is add a browser plugin to interpret an address ur own way. you could achieve the same by making a etc/hosts file entry. in that way i could own www.yahoo.com ... but just on my computer. :-(

Hey why not use http://www.myshost.com instead. It requires forum posting but only 25 posts for a .com domain is nothing.
Hey why does'nt this site open for me, do you think that this site uses IP banning feature. I am in India and I cannot open this site. I have tried this a hgell alot of times. Even using Microsoft Internet Explorer anb Mozilla Firefox, it does'nt seem to work at all, can any one help. I am talking about the myshost.com anyway!
