A good example is http://www.astahost.com/code-editable-list...net-t20027.html where I created a Visual Basic.NET project to answer a question about listviews and also uploaded a screenshot to show what the finished project looks like.
I understand the limit is low to prevent abuse but I am requesting a special exception for myself so I can continue to provide robust answers to questions that are best answered with a coding sample.
P.S. I have -47 MyCents when I had a surplus yesterday. Is there a glitch in the system? |

Uploads take up a lot of place on the server. Even though not everyone uses this options, we must look at it from a theoretical point of view. The current attachement space is 500kB - multiply that by 26000 members, and you get approximately 13GB. If you doubled it... Ouch. That is why it is always recommended to use free hosting services for such files - for example, http://www.imagefilez.com/ for images, and http://www.sendspace.com/ for other files.

I am aware of that, but as far as I know, IP.Board has no such option  Also, it would be unfair towards other users - we are all equal here

Astahost Problem
(16) I have been having trouble with astahost for the past few days but now it is worse then it has been.
I think I may have gotten banned but I have enough host credits. Whenever I go onto my website or
cpanel (or anyone else’s website that is hosted on astahost). I get: The domain "www.

Can't Access Astahost Hosteed Sites (including Cpanel And Ftp)
(21) Well its been about a week now since i havent been able to access anything hosted on the gamma
server (including the gamma.xisto.com address) and its starting to annoy me. my brother "co-owns" a
site hosted here and he hasnt been able to go on it or anything so he told me to ask about it. So
it was when i was uploading EZ Publish (via ftp) to my site it happened. after like 500 files it
lost connection and wouldnt connect. later on i found that i couldnt get on my site or cpanel
either. i then went on my best friends site hosted here and couldnt access it so i went on o....

(2) Quick question about advertisements on Astahost. I don’t remember reading anything in the TOS that
advertisements were banned but I have a feeling that they are. Either way I have reported several

Does astahost need more? (18) Well I have been here at astahost a while now, and after being a member of the forums, there just
seems something about them that doesn't quite make them as enjoyable to be in. To me it seems
like the forums contain a lot of posts that are very repetative, even many topics that seem to
repeat themselves... To me it seems like maybe there should be some more moderators, and the
moderation should be stricter than it is. I just don't find it as fun to participate in a
community where a lot of the posts seem to be spamish... Does anybody else feel this way?....

Switching From Astahost Hosting To Computing Host?
(4) Ok I was just wondering...do to a lack of time these days I've been a bit lax in my posting
