To be pretty frank with all you guys, i've just started getting into VB, lets say a month now in
university with programs like calculate the Discount on prices u enter or make a simple calculator
that takes in 2 values etc. I have been a fan of the Nokia S60 phones, and have quiet a knowledge
about them, but unless i get into the background i cant do anything usefull of my knowledge, hence
started to learn programming in VB for S60 phones. I visited the nokia developers site and found
out a VB add-on (duno whatelse to call it) , but mostly came up with the knowledge...

Hey guys, I've been working on a AJAX powered CMS for quite a while now. Am done with
most of the important aspects - except one, i.e. plug-ins. I've studied how apps like WordPress
utilise API Hooks to add in plug-ins (hooks offer various injection points in the main CMS's
code, where a plug-in can inject it's own code). What I couldn't figure out is how to
create one. Anyone here done this before? Can you gimme some examples or guide me to some tutorials

Hello, The topic here is the building of self replicating (and manufacturing) equipment. Firstly I
would like to know if a How-To would be used or wanted on building and using such equipment?

synchronized to the newest version available (most recent version) at most places, here are where my
files are scattered across: 1. FAT32 partition Read by Linux and Windows, I do most of my file

I am making a colour picking application in Delphi and am looking for little things I could add or
change to make it better. It's meant to be quite simple for the most part of course, and it
includes 3 sliders for RGB, random colour generation, display of RGB/HEX etc codes, and a feature to
get the colour from underneath the mouse. If anyone has any nice little ideas I might be able to
implement in it, to improve it, it would be greatly appreciated (I'm not sure what people would

I just put a computer info based algorithm in my simulator today. I am finally moving toward making
a version of my relativistic physics of spacefilight simulator available on the net with some
features being registration activated. Looking for a web site is part of it. My first idea was to
somehow get the physical location of the file on hard disk (haven't found a way of doing that
yet either) as a basis for unique registration but then a disk defragmentation would invalidate the

I have downloaded a couple of PHP scripts and have tried to open the with XAMMP in PHP but it
isn't working. The page pops up for a quick second, then disappears. I have no clue what is
going on. I am opening it with the PHP.exe file in XAMMP, is that what I am supposed to be using?
When it comes up for that second, you can see the writing, but like I said, it just disappears. Not

I would like to give editing access to some of the staff on my site. However, I do not wish to give
my staff FTP access, which is the only way I can access one of my sites. I need a free thing that my
staff will be able to login and edit the HTML of certain pages and of course save teh changes. I do
have PHP and mySQL enabled on the server. Does anyone know of such an onlin editer? Help would be

Well, I'm interested on setting up a Jabber network, but I don't have any extra hardware

One thing I see wrong already is the title, "Free Web Hosting" on the main page. This just screams
unprofessional and tells people that Astahost shouldn't be taken seriously. I think you should
change the title to, "Astahost | Quality Web Hosting for Free" or something of that sort. This
greatly improves the standards and shows people how great the hosting here is, while the current,
"Free Web Hosting" sounds like typical web hosting you can find at any other crappy free web host.
Because who wants "Free Web Hosting" when they can have "Quality Web Hosting for Free?"...

Hi peeps.... This is more likely a discussion not a tutorial. Its my idea of creating a members area
in a website using the CGI - Perl and cookies. I am sharing this so that people out there who have
more knowledge about this technique will be able to share their idead about this and they might be

Hey guys, My Google Adsense account's approved and I've added the code for a banner
ad on top of the board and code for a tall columnar ad on the right side of the main page. You
cannot see anything on the board at all and on the main page, you can just see the header Google
Ads . Anybody had prior experience with Google Adsense ? Any idea why the ads are not showing up ?
