Demon Trio Project
These are a set of three paintings I created using combination of Photoshop and GIMP, using Wacom Intuos3 tablet. Attempt was to create three paintings of different monster characters with a same flow of style in terms of form and style.
I am still trying to find my own style, and I guess one can only get it by doing lot of paintings/artwork.

I wouldn't mind getting critique for these - but I don't think I will be working on these. They were done quite some time back, and I myself think that some things could have been done better. |

Facebook Graffiti

Lately I have enjoyed painting with the Flash-based Graffiti application on Facebook. Sometimes I
think it is fun to see what I can do with the restrictions of a simple little paint program. The
only real special feature that the application has is the ability to adjust the opacity of your
paint. Anyway, below are some of the images I have produced with it. If anyone else has used it, I
would love to see what you have made. Also the application has a somewhat new feature

Hello. My name is Ashley and I'm totally new to this site. I was pleasantly surprised when I
stumbled across this art forum. And....even though I feel very, very weird about posting my art up
here - (makes me feel slightly narcissistic, which I'm not...) - I thought I'd go for it.
I don't generally get a lot of feedback on DeviantArt and view this as an opportunity to get
some constructive criticism. So, the attached picture is my most recent digital drawing and
it's called "I guess I'll catch you later..." The original size is 1280x800 pix....

OK. I am putting it here so I can have a record of the gradual process I am going to follow to
create a handful of Pixel Art works. I am strating a particular Pixel Art project for which I need
to first create a base. I will be using this to create other bases - and thus it is a bit with

Hey everyone. Some of you may know that at conceptart.org, I maintained a digital sketch book that
I updated once a week. Because of my busy class schedule, (which, unfortunately contained no digital
painting in the curriculum) and the fact that my last server went down and took my site with it, I
could not update as regularly as I'd have liked... In fact, I got so frustrated with
disorganized classes that lacked focus; and professors who told me that there's no future in
digital art or conceptual design (most of them believe that it's still the 1970s) that ....

Hey everyone. I thought it'd be a good idea to put together a list of some links and online
resources for digital artists, as there seems to be a number of us here. If any of you come from a
fairly artistically traditional background as I do, it can be tough when trying to figure out how to
